A bit of a rant here but there is just something that pisses me off about the phrase “Thanks, I appreciate you’re [cooperation|help|advice]” right after somebody asks you to do something but before you do it.
It’s a slightly underhanded method to get you to do something regardless of whether or not you actually want to.
I also hate it when a waitress or clerk says, “No problem.” Of course it is no problem, I am the customer. Someone needs to teach them, “My pleasure.”
