This week we’re listening to some old school Maiden. While this song is much better than Rockets and Bombs The Star Spangled Banner, nobody will flip their shit if you don’t stand while this is playing.

I’m feeling like listening to some folk metal this week so we’re going with Koriklaani.

This week we’ll be listening to Call Me by PAIN. Judging by the music video I assume this band is one of Doctor Rockzo’s side projects because there is a ton of co-co-co-cocaine, baby!

This week we’re listening to a band that I would describe as a synthesis of power and folk metal.

Who’s in the mood for folk metal? Hopefully everybody because that’s what we’re listening to this week. Folkstone is an Italian folk metal band I recently learned about. The band leans slightly more towards the folk side than the metal side, which is fine by me. I’m really digging them.

This week we’re going to listen to some folk metal. Equilibrium has a new album coming out in August and the band has released a lyric video for the song Prey. I really dig the melody they have going on in this song:

This week we’re going to listen to a new band, Visionatica. It’s a symphonic metal band and if this song is any indication the band holds promise.
