Since Sabaton is one of my favorite bands they pretty much become the weekly Monday Metal whenever they release a new song. Last week they dropped the first song from their next album, The Last Stand. The song, titled The Last Battalion, has been receiving a bit of hatred for sounding similar to Hearts of Iron and supposedly suffering from poor production. Personally, I really enjoyed the song and I’ll let you judge it for yourself:

Monday Metal: See You In Hell By Grim Reaper
We’re going retro this week:
Monday Metal: The Vengeful One By Disturbed
Monday Metal: Promised Land By Samael
Monday Metal: Daybreak By DevilDriver
This week I’m posting something that I both like and dislike. Daybreak is a song by DevilDriver, a band I had not previously heard of. I really enjoy the instrument playing but I don’t really like the vocals so, overall, I’m not entirely sure what I think. DevilDriver seems like one of those bands that could grow on my in time.
Monday Metal: Lady Of The Wind By Whispered
Monday Metal needs more samurai metal so here you go:
Monday Metal: Admiral Over The Oceans By Civil War
Monday Metal: A Man With A Plan By Korpiklaani
I haven’t posted any Korpiklaani in a while, which is a shame. I’m correcting that this week with A Man With a Plan:
Simulation Of The Titanic Sinking
I spent the evening working on my submission for the Agorist Writers Workshop so there isn’t much in the way of content today. One thing that I did come across that was rather neat though was a realtime simulation of the sinking of the Titanic. I admit that I jumped around as I didn’t have two hours and forty minutes to watch a ship sink but it was still neat.
Monday Metal: Crying of the Sun By METALWINGS
METALWINGS is a song I came across accidentally when looking for this week’s Monday Metal entry. I know nothing about the bad but I really enjoyed this song so I’ll be looking into more of their music when I have time:
