I didn’t really plan for this week’s Monday Metal so you get to listen to the last song that came up on my iPhone. As it turns out I was busy this weekend since my sister got married and I officiated the wedding. Check back tomorrow, maybe I’ll have something new by then.

Symfonia was power metal band that didn’t last long. Unfortunately it recorded one album and then the band fell apart. But it was a pretty badass album if I do say so myself. The following is the title track from the band’s one and only album, In Paradisum:

We’re going to start the week with a song from the greatest metal band of all time (objectively true, if you disagree you’re wrong), Iron Maiden. I’ve had Seventh Son of a Seventh Son stuck in my head for a bit so that’s this week’s Monday Metal entry:

I’m feeling old school but not old school. After digging through some classic sounding power metal I came across a band that I hadn’t heard of before, Sinbreed. They’re a German power metal band that has a nice old school sound to them but have only been around since 2005. I haven’t had a chance to listen to a lot of their stuff but what I’ve heard so far I’m digging:

Argh matey, it be time again for more pirate metal. OK, so I finally got around to buying Alestorm’s new album. It’s damn good, which isn’t surprising considering how awesome Alestorm is. Of all the songs on the new album I must say I like Magnetic North the most so here it is:

I don’t even know what the fuck this is, I just stumbled across it when searching for new folk metal and it made by LOL:

OK, I actually know what TrollfesT is but this video, holy shit, I’m not sure what it’s about but it’s awesome.
