Monday Metal: Världsherravälde by Raubtier

This week we’re going a little Swedish industrial with Raubtier. Världsherravälde, which translations into world domination, is a bad ass video full of people smashing things. While I’m not sure what exactly they’re singing about I have looked up some translations and in general the song is about the metalheads rising up and destroying hip-hop and MTV, a theme I can get entirely behind:

Everything Will Be Metal

I just came across something that I didn’t know existed… a cappella metal band. Whether this will create a tear in spacetime is uncertain but one thing is for certain, this band proves anything can be made metal. For your listening pleasure and/or confusion I present you Iron Maiden’s Fear of the Dark done a cappella style by Van Canto:

Manowar Week: Warriors of the World United

I went ahead and posted a Manowar song for Monday Metal and found out that a single song by that band isn’t a proper contribution to the Metal Gods. To save my soul from eternal damnation and banishment from Valhalla I’m promptly declaring this week Manowar Week.
