I haven’t posted any Korpiklaani in a while, which is a shame. I’m correcting that this week with A Man With a Plan:

METALWINGS is a song I came across accidentally when looking for this week’s Monday Metal entry. I know nothing about the bad but I really enjoyed this song so I’ll be looking into more of their music when I have time:

I have a lot of shit to do this week so I need some motivational music. Few songs are as motivating to me as Amon Amarth’s The Way of Vikings. It’s a song about vikings training to be badasses (which, honestly, is the subject of 99% of Amon Amarth’s music):

This week we’re going to listen to some mother fucking Manowar. If you don’t like it leave the hall.

Everybody who knows me knows I’m a fan of the ridiculous. While hair metal may be ridiculous in of itself, Steel Panther cranks it up to 11. Steel Panther is a band I just learned about last week and it’s basically a band that parodies hair metal bands of the ’80’s by taking all the tropes and amplifying them. It’s goddamn glorious:

For this week I’ve selected some metal from Mongolia. The band is Nine Treasures and it’s a Mongolian folk metal band:
