Now that the great plunderer, the National Football League, is done pilfering Minneapolis, I think it’s appropriate to see it off with some appropriate pirate metal:

Orphaned Land released a new album on Friday. It’s their usual affair, which is a blend of metal with traditional Middle Eastern music. Furthermore, the album has a lot of songs that attempt to bridge the gap between Judaism and Islam that exists especially in Israel. This song specifically, is about exactly that. Needless to say Orphaned Land realizes that metal really is a universal language.

Rebellion has a new album coming out titled A Tragedy in Steel Part II – Shakespeare’s King Lear. A Fool’s Tale is the first song from that album to be released. If it’s anything to go by, A Tragedy in Steel Party II will be a solid album:

The Mongols are back. Tengger Cavalry has dropped a new album titled Cian Bi. If you’ve heard the band’s previous works this is more of the same, which is a good thing.
