Signaling the end of an era Frank Buckles, America’s last surviving World War I veteran, has died. I’d say Mr. Buckles lived a pretty long life making it to 110. Sadly we now no longer have any person alive in America was in that theater of war meaning all those war stories not currently recorded are gone forever.
