U.N.’s View on Guns

I’ve had this document on my machine for a while and decided to upload it…

It’s pretty scary stuff. It’s the United Nation’s view on how guns should be controlled. The worst part is chapter 3 entitled “Regulating Arms in the Hands of Civilians.” It’s pretty much the United Nation’s belief that civilians shouldn’t have guns, instead only the government.

These restrictions are similar to many European countries’ regulations. Just read through it. Not once is the idea of a civilian being allowed to defend themselves even mentioned.

Documents like this are the reason why I’m completely against signing any treaty that involves guns period. For instance that little treaty Obama wants signed between the United States an Mexico.

So let’s narrow this down. Some punk shot another guy and he has not only avoided jail time but is still going to be able to complete college? I don’t know what to say here except what the fuck. So let us total up this asshat’s punishment. He gets off on six years probation, a $1,000 fine, and 240 hours of community service! Sometimes I just don’t know anymore.

This Tacticool Stuff has Gone too Far

Stoeger is bringing out the Double Defense series of double barrel side-by-side shotguns. Go look at it. It’s a coach gun with rails on it. Yes RAILS on a coach gun, now I’ve seen it all.

Britain’s new police campaign is urging it’s subjects to turn in other subjects if they are wearing too much “bling.” Apparently the government is putting up posts stating that if you think somebody is living a life of luxury and you don’t think they can afford it you need to turn them in.

So if you’re a subject of the crown of Britain and you see somebody wearing any jewelry at all place it safe and call the Ministry of Love, I mean the police.

Some malicious hacker got into the servers used by avsim.com. The person in charge of the 13 year project forgot to back stuff up. Well not exactly forgot, he just had two servers which cloned themselves to one another. Which means when the malicious hacker got access to one server he was able to get access to the second server and destroy the data on both of them.

Always, always, ALWAYS and once again ALWAYS have off network backups. And if at all possible have offsite backups as well. That way you have a chance of recovering after a catastrophe such as the one in the article.

The summary of this bill is simple, if you’re on the United State’s “no fly” or “terrorist watch” list you will be prohibited from buying guns. The biggest problem (of many) here is you don’t actually have to be guilty of ANYTHING to be on this list. Hence this bill will allow your rights to be stripped simply by being suspected of something, maybe.

Anyways here is the list of asses involved…

Hopefully this list doesn’t expand beyond two idiots.

Nothing much to say except a criminal broke into a man’s house, the man had a shotgun. He first smacked the guy in the face with the butt of the gun which made the criminal flee. Having a change in heart the bad guy came back so the home owner shot the ground in front of him.

I’m in the school that says if you are in a situation where you need to bring out your gun you are in a situation where you need to use it.

Ruger Delivers a Piston Driven AR-15

I think it’s a little late but they have finally delivered an AR-15. It’s even one of those super fancy piston driven ones that cost an extra arm and leg. Personally I’ve always viewed Ruger as providing guns that didn’t have to cost you a small fortune. I find it odd that they decided piston driven was going to be the way they introduced an AR-15.

In all honestly though the market is so saturated I don’t know what they feel they are brining to the table that differentiates themselves. Heck I’m pretty much AR’ed out myself.
