Meet the Glock Service Revolver

Holy shit, Glock apparently released a service revolver and the entire Internet missed it. From the article:

With the door locked and children in the next room, Bolin holds his former service revolver, a Glock 21, 45 acp.

Something isn’t quite right there but I can’t put my finger on it.

HS Produkt VHS Rifle

HS Produkt is probably best known as the manufacturer of the pistol known in America as the Springfield XD. Being the manufacturer of the XD means your company has at least some established track record of making great firearms and thus people are more likely to take interest in other weapons you make. Enter the VHS assault rifle, HS Produkt’s latest entry into the small arms market.

I will say that the VHS looks like an interesting rifle. The rifle looks pretty ugly but that’s not really an issue of the firearm works well. It’s also good to see that in this day an age Croatia still concerns themselves with mounting bayonets on their modern rifles. What good is a rifle if you can stick a knife at the end of it and stab somebody? I’ll tell you, it’s no good at all.

Time For the ATF to Ban Staple Guns

The Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF) went on a ban spree a while back because, according to them and nobody else, certain Airsoft rifles could be converted into real firearms. The ATF wrote up a report on this which coincided with their report on various unicorn sightings that their agents have observed over the years.

Well the ATF is going to shit bricks when they see this video explaining how to convert a regular staple gun into a 12 gauge shotgun. I’m kind of sad honestly, I use my stable gun a lot and there will be a void in my life when the ATF bans it for being easily converted into a destructive device.

So Many Buzz Words It Has to Be Awesome

I work in an industry where buzzwords are the bread and butter of marketing people. All computer technology ultimately comes down to the buzzwords and whether or not there are enough of them. Needless to say when something awesome like a grenade launcher is combined with enough buzzwords to start a marketing campaign for a software solution I get a bit curious:

Combining a GPS, laser rangefinder and computer, the new Mk19 FCS (Fire Control System) enables gunners to put the first round on the target, at extreme ranges (over 2,000 meters). The FCS can also fire an accurate pattern of 40mm grenades at those same ranges.

GPS, lasers, and grenades all in one package! It’s amazing what our advances in technology can lead us to produce.

A tip of the old hat goes to The Firearm Blog for unveiling this amazing piece of technology.

America, Fuck Yeah

I don’t think it’s possible for this company to stick the word “America” into their motto any more times and have it make grammatical sense:

Made In America By Americans That Appreciate America And The US Constitution!!!

That’s a whole lot of America right there… and exclamation points. But hey if you’re looking for remanufactured ammunition and you love America these may be the people for you to do business with.

One Reason to Adopt H&K

Do you need a reason to adopt the overly expensive H und K pistol? I have a reason for you, if you don’t they will sue your sorry ass (in all fairness Walther is in on this as well but they’re not as much fun to ridicule):

Earlier this year the Dutch police announced the adoption of a new pistol, the Sig Sauer PPNL (Police Pistol Netherlands).

Heckler & Koch and Walther, who lost out on the contract, have announced their intention to take the government to court over the decision.

I wonder if H und K has superior German engineered lawyers.

Because Bigger is Better

There is one universal rule, bigger is always better. Because of this Guncrafter Industries decided the Glock needed a .50 GI conversion kit. For those of you unaware the .50 GI is a .50 cartridge that was originally invented to bring .05 more inches to the 1911. Why? It’s fucking awesome that’s why!

Now you can turn your Glock into an impractical Desert Eagle wannabe for the low low price of $595.00. Oh and the cost of .50 GI which I’ve never seen before so I’m guessing is going to be equally expensive.
