Frickin’ Lasers

You’ve got a 25mm autocannon and you’re thinking to yourself, “What could I do to make this more awesome?” Explosive ammunition seems a bit dull, especially with that sweet tomahawk missile launcher next to the autocannon, you don’t want to pay the electric bill for that sweet rail gun, and honestly upgrading the targeting system for the autocannon is a bit dull. Finally it hits you, mount a frickin’ laser to the top of your frickin’ autocannon:

One of these things is ammunition capacity, the more rounds you can hold the more fun you can have and California Competition Works is here to help with their PMAG coupler. Basically it’s a small device that allows you to take two PMAGs and couple them together to create a larger magazine thus you can get a 60-round magazine by coupling two 30-round PMAGs together.

Fun With Shooting Sports

Being a gunnie is awesome. We get to play with devices that basically use controlled explosions to propel small projectiles at incredible speeds. Not only do we get to play with these devices but we keep coming up with more awesome ideas for sports involving these devices. Every Day, No Days Off posted about the American Zoot Shooters Association which is basically a multi-gun competition using Prohibition era firearms. Participants dress in era correct apparel making it similar to many of the cowboy action sports except the participants in the Zoot Shoots actually look good while shooting.

I seriously need to bring out my replica Tommy Gun and try this out someday.

Why Have a House When You Can Have a Fortress

These are uncertain times and you never know when a stray velociraptor or a horde of zombies are going to make their way onto your property. In such times the only safe place is a fortress and by Thor I’ve found a rather stylish one. It’s a house that is basically a large reinforced structure that can be sealed up in minutes.

It looks as though it would work well against zombies but I question it’s safety against man’s greatest threat, velociraptors. There are many large windows for a raptor to jump through and let’s be honest and admit no early warning will exist if you’re being hunted by one of these clever girls.
