Another Person who Claims not Agreeing with Obama is Racist

Via Says Uncle we have a link to a Washington Post piece where the author claims that poster depicting Obama as the Joker is racist. He’s not even pussy footing around this one:

So why the anonymity? Perhaps because the poster is ultimately a racially charged image. By using the “urban” makeup of the Heath Ledger Joker, instead of the urbane makeup of the Jack Nicholson character, the poster connects Obama to something many of his detractors fear but can’t openly discuss. He is black and he is identified with the inner city, a source of political instability in the 1960s and ’70s, and a lingering bogeyman in political consciousness despite falling crime rates.

Yes because Obama’s face in the poster is painted similar to the “urban” paint of the latest Dark Knight file it ties to the inner city which, according to the author, implies black people are violent. Now i’ve contrived some really bad bullshit before but this guy deserves an aware. Hence he is the latest recipient of this site’s world of fame asshole award. Congratulations Philip Kennicott.

Another Multiple Shooting Incident

Well it looks like we have another tragic shooting this time in Bridgeville Pennsylvania. The murderer, George Sodini, walked into L.A. Fitness around 20:00 UTC with two handguns (I’m sure somebody will report an AK-47 just wait) in his gym bag. He entered a room where a womens’ dance class was taking place, killed the lights, and started blasting. He ended his rampage by finally shooting the only person deserving of it, himself. It appears as if five women were killed.

The further add to this it appears as though Mr. Sodini talked about doing this attack on his web page for about nine months. According to the site his reasoning for the attack was because he’s been rejected by women for many years. I’m not social expert but my guess is he was being rejected because he’s fucking bat shit crazy.

As much as it makes me sound like a calloused asshole I’m going to go ahead and say this is an example of why you need a plan for self defense no matter where you are. Granted concealing a weapon under attire most commonly used by women to exercise is a no go but being there were over 100 people in the gym somebody could have been packing including a gym employee. Further more something like mace could have at least blinded him and hopefully distracted him long enough to tackle his ass and give it a good kicking. According the the last linked article (which the news likes to exaggerate but still) the murderer shot as many as 52 rounds. If he was carrying two handguns that would mean he almost certainly had to reload each gun at least once. There would have been time for somebody with a concealed weapon in the gym to move in and shoot the fucker before it completed his rampage or at least maced him. Have a means of self defense, even if it’s not a gun any weapons increases your odds.

Now we just have to wait for the anti-gunners to exploit this tragedy and claim stricter gun control could have prevented this.

Sadly the murdering fuck is dead and hence no punishment can be dealt. That’s the biggest sign of cowardice right there, killing yourself after walking into a place full of unarmed people and killing them. Let us remember those who died in this even as the victims of a total coward. Here is the current list of those who died because of Mr. Chickenshit:

An Example of a Time Not to Use a Gun

Rob Allen has a post on when you shouldn’t use a gun. Those of use who carry do so knowing we may need it to defend our lives at some point. Many gun owners keep a gun handing knowing they may have to defend themselves at home some night. But apparently Jack Connerton of Cincinnati decided his gun should be used to confiscate a child’s skateboard because they were cutting across his parking log.

Mr. Connerton is being accused of stealing an 11 year old girl’s skateboard at gun point. This is a perfect example of times when a gun is not to be pulled out. Furthermore if the acquisition is true this guy is not only a world class prick for robbing an 11 year old girl at gun point but also a world class prick for trying to ruin the right to bear arms for the rest of us. These are the jack asses the anti-gunners point to and claim are the average gun owner. It’s people like this that give the anti-gunners an emotional argument to use the next time they want to pass a law banning guns. And it’s dick heads like Mr. Connerton who hands them these arguments on a silver plater.

This Entitlement Feeling has to Go

You know this entitlement thing has to end. People seem to think they are entitled to everything from social security to health care. Well Trina Thompson thinks she’s entitled to a job. Of course she hasn’t found one in the whole three months she’s been searching so she’s doing what most people seem to think is logical and suing.

That’s right this lady is suing her college, Monroe College in New York, for $72,000. Her tuition was $70,000 and she’s adding another $2,000 to the bill to compensate for the stress she’s been experiencing in the three months she’s failed to find a job. What does this fine lady have to present an employer? Well a bachelor or business administration degree and a grade point average of 2.7. Oh yeah I also forgot to mention her solid attendance record.

So she’s competing in a market with high unemployment with thousands of people with work experience and much higher GPAs who have been laid off. After three months of searching she’s found nothing and it’s the school’s fault. That’s what she says:

They’re supposed to say, “I got this student, her attendance is good, her GPA is all right — can you interview this person?” They’re not doing that.

I don’t think Ms. Thompson’s current unemployment has much to do with the school. It probably has a lot to do with her attitude, subpar GPA, and her rather generic degree. I’m sorry but your college isn’t responsible for getting you a job, they are responsible for educating you well enough that you can got out and get a job. And (as of 11:42 CST on August 4th, 2009) currently the unemployment rate is at 9.7%.

I’m sure math isn’t Ms. Thompson’s strong suite but that means for every 100 people 10 are unemployed. The (as of the same date mentioned above) current population of the United States is 304,059,724. That means there are roughly 30,405,972 unemployed persons in this country. Many of those people have degrees which they obtained with a higher GPA and years of work experience, which in of itself is far more valuable than the degree or GPA.

Another issues I don’t think Ms. Thompson is considering is she’s probably going to have a much harder time getting a job in the future now that this story has gone public. See employees don’t like liabilities and hiring somebody who is willing to sue a college for not finding her a job is probably going to sue any company that employes her for any number of reasons. Really she’s probably not going to win this court case (then again this is in New York) not only because this suit is stupid but because she’s representing herself (a good setup for failure when going against an entity with lawyers). On top of that she’s also making herself undesirable due to her behavior and willingness to admit she feels entitled to things she’s not.

Greenpeace Proves Once Again Zealous Environmentalists are Dicks

Some Greenpeace pricks broke into Hewlett Packard’s Palo Alto headquarters and painted the words “Hazardous Products” on the roof. This apparently was due to the fact that Hewlett Packard didn’t give a flying fuck that Greenpeace rated their company poorly on the so called green meter.

So let me get this straight. Greenpeace doesn’t like the practices of a company. They could simply not buy anything from that company and publicly berate them to prove their point. Of course this wasn’t radical enough to they revert to trespassing and vandalism instead. Furthermore the only people who are going to see this message are one flying overhead. To me this seems pointless since people flying overhead are already using a “non-green” form of transportation and hence probably don’t give a shit what Greenpeace things. If I were the head of Hewlett Packard I’d be suing Greenpeace for every penny I could squeeze out of them.

This guys are nothing more than low level terrorists. That’s right I said it, terrorists. If you don’t bend to their will they will take matters into the realm of property damage of physical attacks (I’m sorry ramming and potentially sinking a ship full of people in waters well below freeze, thus guaranteeing the death of the sunken ship via hypothermia, is a physical attack against those people). I don’t know how these guys don’t have federal agents crawling so far up their ass’ that they can taste them.

If You Don’t Agree with Somebody Call Them Racist

To sum up the story a many opens a Republican oriented political merchandise kiosk in a mall. Somebody writes in and complains so he gets booted out. But it’s the accusation made against the owner, Loren Spivack, that pisses me off the most here.

As most of you know I’m not a Republican nor anywhere near one. I disagree with much of what Mr. Spivack says on his merchandise. But for God’s sake this line is the real offensive thing here…

At least one passerby found them racist and bigoted, and took time to tell the mall in a letter and a letter to the editor of the Charlotte Observer.

I am really fucking tired of people who worship the Obamessiah screaming racism every time somebody else criticizes the man. Most people who are criticizing him aren’t racist but actually don’t agree with his policies. I happen to be one of those people.

And this is where I go into rant mode for a few seconds. The people complaining in this story are what I call “progressive” liberals. Don’t mistake these “progressive” liberals with actual liberals whom are willing to have an honest debate, kindly disagree with your views, and not scream racism when you criticize Dear Leader. No these “progressive” liberals are well described by Eric Shelton on the Handgun Podcast.

They are great at feeling but not very good at thinking. Their arguments are always emotion based and never fact based. They will scream things about needing to ban guns because just one innocent child being shot is too many (which is true but the fact that 2,500,000 times a year guns are used to save peoples’ lives far outweighs any single tragedy). But worst of all these people are also hypocrites which are my least favorite kind of people.

They will scream until their blue in the face about how tolerant they are of others. This tolerance ends the second you don’t agree completely with them of course. They claim they want equality for all and will do anything to fight racism and bigotry. Where are they when a conservative man is being discriminated against? Oh that’s right since that person doesn’t share their views they don’t deserve to have a business.

Now I agree the mall owner has every right to decide can and can’t rent space in his mall. It’s his private property and he has the freedom to do what he wishes with it. My complaint here is the accusation that the kiosk owner is racist because he doesn’t agree with the Obamessiah.

Police say Leslie Campbell, 48, kidnapped the teenager in San Antonio in March, took her to Corpus Christi, sexually assaulted her over the course of a week, gave her a false identification card and forced her to strip at the club.
Police say the girl, who has not been identified, escaped from Campbell’s home and has been reunited with her parents in San Antonio.

So she was kidnapped, sexually assaulted, and forced to work in a strip joint until she escaped. This is a tragic story but it gets worse. Fast forward to the immediate present…

RJL Entertainment Inc., — which is doing business as “Cheetah Club,” according to tax records — filed the lawsuit last week.
The suit seeks unspecified damages from Campbell, the girl and her parents, as well as a declaration from a judge that it did not intend to hire a minor.

“We’re the victims here,” Yaffe said.

Yes the strip joint which hired the girl is now suing the girl and her family. So after being kidnapped, sexually assaulted, and forced to take a job as a stripper she is also being sued on top of it.

I’m starting to give up home on the human race.

Some Tennessee Police Define Superdickery

I saw this on Say Uncle and let me tell you it’s an infuriating story…

The police show up at Justin Chilton’s apartment in response to a 911 call. Justin found out about this by being awakened by the police pounding on his door at 3 a.m. Of course he answered his door with gun in tow, as any sane person would at that hour. In response the police threw him and his son to the ground and roughed them up. They were then both charged with resisting arrest.

But the real kicker here is the police were at the wrong apartment. And after discovering this the police are not dropping charges of resisting arrest and aggravated assault. That is some grade A superdickery right there. These cops certainly deserve a spot on the wall of fame of assholes.

OK be honest Bill Moyers, this isn’t about religious organizations killing each other to promote the “worship” guns (seriously find me a religion that says to worship guns). This is about not wanting to hear the other side’s arguments because you know you can’t refute them. Emotional blubbering doesn’t stand up against facts. God forbid you did something crazy like talk and listen to somebody with an opposing viewpoint.

Guns don’t kill people, they say. People kill people. True. People kill people — with guns.

This is very true, I can’t refute it in any way. People kill people with guns. We also kill each other with knives, cars, bombs, household cleaners, scissors, pencils, electricity, water, and our bare hands. Why isn’t he asking for a ban on any of these items? It might be the stereotypical example but cars kill more people than guns and Ted Kennedy’s car has killed more people than all of my guns combined.

That statistic fits very nicely with the one that states you are most likely to get burglarized or molested by somebody in your family. Cripes, better not interact with any of your family members!

Thank you Mr. Moyer for another emotion filled and fact free argument. It’s so nice to read these because they are so easy to tear apart. It’s even more entertaining when you realize that he’s writing this while being paid with our tax money. Wait that isn’t entertaining at all that just makes him a total asshole.
